Achieving MSC Status

Diversity is important to us. Earlier on we mentioned that in order to thrive in an ever-evolving world, there needs to be a humble approach to hiring people from different backgrounds. This is especially true in a technology world where things change so fast.

I remembered that I once interviewed this brilliant Vietnamese guy and wanted badly to give himthea job on the spot. He was young, ambitious and passionate about digital. Most importantly, he needed a place where he could hone his craft and explore his curiosities.

We wanted to be the one to give him that first opportunity.

Unfortunately, despite our eagerness it would have taken us a couple of months before we could actually hire him and we had to jump through a bunch of hoops and redtape in order to make that happen.

Thus, begin our pursuit for the MSC Status award. We’ve heard many times that the world is borderless today. However, while we wait for policies to catch up, as a business we need to look for different ways to make things happen.

Therefore, we are proud to announce that since January 2017, DEX has been awarded MSC Status. We hope that this will help us ease our pursuit in bringing in a diverse set of talents around the world.
