Lead and conversion marketing was done through careful optimization of Search Ads across 6 countries. Success was primarily attributed to continuous optimization through A/B testing of copies, interest targeting, topic experimentation and a combination of the above.
Unlike display advertisements, this certainly shows that for Search Engine Marketing to work, there is a need for patience and laser-like focus. Campaign distractions are always there, but setting a goal early while taking incremental steps to increase goal size as we collect insights from the improvements made are good ways to gain ROI.
